Attorney Miha Umek graduated cum laude at the Ljubljana Faculty of Law in 2008. He began his professional path in the legal office of a large construction company in Slovenia, where he primarily dealt with construction, substantive and administrative law. He completed judicial training at the High court in Ljubljana. After successfully passing the bar exam he continued his career as an attorney candidate and attorney in a larger law firm where he dealt mostly with substantive, tort and administrative law.
Miha Umek and a fellow attorney Vid Cepič founded the Law Firm Cepič-Umek in 2019, which has a registered seat in Ljubljana. In 2022 it changed into the Law Firm Cepič Umek Pograjc. He communicates with clients in Slovenian and English. His areas of expertise are civil, corporate and construction law. He receives clients by prior arrangement.
We are aware that timely action and advice to clients makes it much easier to solve legal problems while a problem is still arising. At the same time, it prevents new problems from arising. This is why we are always available to clients to advise them without delay on their problems.
